°¿¬¿ä¾à : Cloud computing is now regarded as a major profit model in the IT industry. For the cloud computing business to be highly profitable, computing resources should be provided at the lowest prices, while maintaining the Service Level Agreement (SLA). Such contradictory goals require the datacenter to dynamically allocate various computing resources using advanced resource management techniques without any noticeable performance degradation. In this talk, we describe PosCloud, a novel open-source based datacenter management engine which has been implemented at POSTECH. PosCloud runs on top of 200+ nodes and 500TB storage datacenter to provide cost-effective Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) cloud services. PosCloud employs various advanced datacenter management techniques such as performance monitoring, live migration, reliable operation, and workload analysis.
